How to Make Basic Chocolate Cake
While making this cake always make sure about the temperature-for oven you need to preheat it for 10 minutes on 150°C and for ingredient all should be on the room temperature ; Including the butter.
Step 1: Let’s start our oven preheat process first, because we need only 10 minutes for preparation. Preheat oven for 10 minutes on 150°C. Also take one deep pan and heat the water for melting the chocolate.
Step 2: Meanwhile take one mixing bowl and add maida, Coco powder, Powder sugar and Baking powder in it. Remember we need a dusty mixture. So you have to sieve this all things in one mixing bowl. Now slowly mix everything with the help of spoon.
Step 3: After mixing this all things together, add 2 tbsp of milk and mix it very well. Remember no lumps should form, if there are any lumps do mix the mixture well with the help of rubber spatula or whisk, but I would recommend to use whisk for this process, because it will be easy to you to make a smooth batter for cake.
Step 4: It is time to melt the chocolate. Water is boiling now so place one bowl on top of the pan and add chocolate in it, melt the chocolate properly. After that add little amount of milk and butter in melted chocolate, then mix it again. Don’t worry, if chocolate started to get thickness, we are going to add this in our mixture, so we can able to make smooth batter out of it.
Step 5: Now take a baking tray / bowl and spray 1/2 tsp ghee, also dust little amount of maida, it will ensure that the cake will seamlessly come out of the baking bowl. Pore the batter in this tray and tap once, then place this tray in oven. Now bake the cake in oven for 35 minutes on 200°C. Check this cake with oily knife after 35 minutes, so you will get an idea the cake is baked or not. Cake is ready. Is it very simple? Yes it is. So try it at your home and enjoy the taste of homemade basic chocolate cake.
