Means you have to make a dough very soft by kneading, do not add more water than required. You can do one thing, add water as needed to make a dough, do not add too much water at a one time. Corona virus pandemic is going on and we all are home quarantine. We can’t go outside to eat our favorite food. Yesterday was my husband’s birthday, so I have decided to make koraishutir Kochuri, aloo dum, shevai kheer, Bangda fish fry, cauliflower fry and Mango juice. This all are his favorite food items. Suddenly I have realized that koraishutir Kochuri would be the best option for every one to make on any occasion and suitable food for this quarantine period too.. Everyone loves it. So here is the easy recipe and step by step image instructions to make taste koraishutir Kochuri at home.

koraishutir is a Bengali word for green peas. it is also known as ‘Virve matar‘ or ‘Vatana‘ in Marathi. There are many recipes available for koraishutir Kochuri, but this one is best ever. Try new recipe at home and collect plaudit for your cooking skill.
koraishutir kochuri ingredients
- 1 cup Maida flour
- 1 tsp Sugar
- pinch of Salt
- 4 tsp oil
- Water
- 1/2 Green peas
- 3 green chili
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp hing | Asafoetida
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- Oil for frying
Process to Make koraishutir kochuri
- Step 1:- Take Maida flour in one bowl. Add Sugar, salt and 2 tsp oil in the maida flour. Mix all together. Now add water and start making dough. Make soft dough out of it.
- Step 2:- Now start making stuffing for koraishutir kochuri. Wash green peas and add in cooker. Take two whistles. Green peas is boiled now.
- Step 3:- Drain the water and add this boiled green peas in mixer grinder bowl. Also add green chili, cumin seeds and salt in it. Make a smooth paste out of it.
- Step 4:- Heat the oil and add cumin seeds in the oil. Also add green peas paste and fry it well. Keep it aside.
- Step 4:-Start making Kachuri. Firstly take a small part of the dough and make round disk out of it. Now take small part of stuffing and place it in the center of the round disk.
- Step 5:- Now joint all edges and make small stuffed ball out of it. Start rolling the puri | Kachuri. Make thick round puri.
- Step 6:-Now heat oil and leave to fry puri in it. Fry the crispy puri. Serve this hot puri with aloo dum or Chana dal | Chola r dal.

How to Make koraishutir kochuri at home?
Here is the step by step image instructions to Make Green Peas Puri.

1.Take maida flour in one mixing bowl.

2.Add salt in the flour.

3.Also add sugar.

4.Add 2 tsp oil.

5.Mix all together.

6.Add little amount of water.

7.Make a soft dough. Keep it aside for 1 hour.

8.Take green peas.

9.Add water. Wash it well.

10.Add green peas in cooker and cook well.

11.Take 2 whistles.

12.Now drain the water and add boiled green peas in mixer grinder bowl.

13.Add green chili.

14.Also add cumin seeds.

15.Add salt.

16.Grind it and make a smooth paste.

17.heat the oil.

18.Add cumin seeds.

19.Now Add paste in it.

20.Add hing.

21.Also add cumin powder.

22.Mix all together.

23.Stuffing is ready.

24.Check after 1 hour.

25.Sprinkle flour on the plate.

26.Take small part of dough and press it on flour.

27.Make a round disk.

28.Take small part of stuffing and place it on the round disk.

29.Join the edges and make a small ball.

30.Press it.

31. Roll a puri | Kachori.

32.Heat the oil and leave to fry puri in the oil.

33.koraishutir kochuri is ready.
koraishutir kochuri is a preparation of green peas paste stuffing inside and soft crunchy layer outside. Making koraishutir kochuri is easy task. Just follow given instructions and your Green peas puri will be ready in no time. I love to eat this puri with aloo dum. You can also eat this puree with Chola r dal (Chickpea) and some of your other favorite gravy’s.
