Chana chat Recipe | How to make chana chat – In this hot summer the temperature of cooking area become hotter. If you are feeling little bit hungry but don’t want to go to the kitchen and cook something, then chana chat is a best option for you. This is a preparation of chana,tomato, onion and combination of spices like red chilli powder, black salt, chat masala, garam masala and many more.

This is a chatapata preparation which is perfect fit for your ” Snacks wala mood”. It is less time consuming and you don’t need to lighten up the gas to cook it. It is very healthy food too. Recipe is also very easy and it will take a short time for preparation.

Ingredients For Chana Chat
- 1 bowl chana
- 2 chopped green chili
- 1/2 bowl chopped tomato
- 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves
- 1/2 bowl chopped onion
- 1/3 bowl chopped raw mango
- 1 bowl chopped cucumber
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 2 tsp shev (for Garnishing)
- 1 tsp amchoor powder (optional)
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/3 tsp chat masala
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt
How to make Chana Chat

Step 1: Take one bowl of soaked Chana in one mixing bowl. Many people like boiled Chana but I am taking Chana which I have soaked in the water for whole night. Now cut onion, tomato, coriander leaves, green chili, raw mango and cucumber. Make a small small pieces. Means chop this all veggies in thin slices.

Step 2: It is time to add this all chopped veggies in soaked Chana, then add red chilli powder, chat masala, garam masala, sprinkle amchoor powder and salt. Mix this all together. Pore lemon juice on this mixture. Garnish coriander leaves and shev on it before serving.
Your dish is ready. You can also mix this with muri. If you mix this with muri and frasan then your Chana bhel will ready. You can also add tamarind chutney, there are many options to add on.
Additional Information
- Use of spices is totally depends upon your choice and taste.
- If you like so, you can also boil the chana in salty water.
- You can also add biled potatoes in it.
