Aamras Recipe | Aamras Kaise Banta Hai – Summer has started and the temperature outside has risen a lot. The temperature has risen above 40 degrees in most parts of Maharashtra. Hapus Mango is one of the things we enjoy every year during the summer season. Hapus mango is known as Alphonso. This mango is eaten with relish all over the world. The characteristic of this mango is its taste, color, texture, and aroma. Alphonso is one of the most expensive varieties of mango.

Alphonso mango is grown mainly in the Ratnagiri and Devbagh districts of the Konkan region of Maharashtra. Basically, this mango starts to be available in the market from April to June every year. Hapus mango is very tasty and has an amazing texture that no other mango can give you. That’s the reason why this mango is a little more expensive than other mangoes.
Aamras is one of the famous dishes made with this amazing Alphonso mango. This is a traditional dish to make on every auspicious occasion in Maharashtra. On this Akshay Tritiya, I have made Aamras and Puri for lunch. So I thought why not share this taste, simple, and easy-to-make aamras recipe with you.
- Alphonso Mango – 2 nos
- Almonds – 1 (crushed)
- Ghee – 1 tsp
By the way, eating all fruits is good for the body but for me, mango is my favorite fruit. I love every dish made from mango. In all of this, my favorite food is Amaras. It takes only 2 to 3 ingredients to make this dish.
And making this dish is very easy. In addition, gas does not have to be ignited to make this tasty dish. You can serve this dish with either puran poli or puri and you can eat this food cold or hot.
Amaras can be made from any mango but Amaras made from Alfonso mango is bliss. So let’s see how to make these delicious Amaras.
How to Make Aamras
1. Firstly take 2 alphonso mango and deep them in water for 5 mins.
2. After 5 mins take the mangoes out of the water.
3. Now cut the mango.
4. Cut mangoes into cubes and transfer them to a bowl.
5. After cutting both mangoes transfer these mango cubes to a mixing bowl.
6. Now grind these cubes in smooth texture.
7. Transfer this to the bowl.
8. Garnish crushed almonds and pour ghee on this mango pulp.
9. Aamras is ready to eat.
10. Serve these tasty aamras with soft crunchy puri.
